What can be repaired?
Broken cross-reference tables, wrong offsets, truncated endings and other structural damage. Content that is missing from the file can't be recovered.
What if the structure can't be rebuilt?
As a fallback, every page that can still be displayed is redrawn into a new PDF. The pages then become images, which we tell you when it happens.
Are my files kept private and secure?
Yes. The tool runs entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers, so there's nothing for us to store, see or leak.
Is there a file size limit for free users?
Free accounts and guests can process files up to 10 MB. Pro and Team raise the limit to 100 MB per file.
