Frequently asked questions
Is the redacted text really removed?
Yes. Pages with redactions are redrawn as images with the boxes burned in, and the original page content is not kept in the file.
What about pages without redactions?
They're kept as they are, with selectable text. Document metadata (title, author…) can be cleared too.
Are my files kept private and secure?
Yes. The tool runs entirely in your browser: your files are processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers, so there's nothing for us to store, see or leak.
Is there a file size limit for free users?
Free accounts and guests can process files up to 10 MB. Pro and Team raise the limit to 100 MB per file.
Do I need to create an account or install software?
